Bize-Minervois Course Terms and Conditions
Your on-line booking information will be used for the course application process and your email address will be added to the Wildpainting email list, unless you ticked the opt out box on your booking form. This information will not be disclosed to any other person, or organisations, except directly in connection with the above purposes. If you have a query about our use of your data, please contact us directly.
Participation
Your reservation will become a certified booking once your payment has reached the organizer’s bank account. Your participation is confirmed when you registered in time and we received the payment on time. When we receive your payment we will send you a written confirmation.
A course will be confirmed to run approximately two months before its start date. The organizer advises you not to make any irreversible arrangements, travel or otherwise, until you receive confirmation that the course will run.
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the programme as necessary.
Minimum number of participants
Each Wildpainting course has been priced on the basis of a minimum number of participants. In the event that fewer than the minimum number of eight participants have confirmed their booking two months from the date of commencement, we reserve the right to cancel the course giving a full refund of monies paid, or to offer arrangements to proceed with the workshop at a modified price. We advise participants not to make bookings (flights, accommodations, etc.) before they have received notice that the course will definitively take place.
Cancellation
Your course payment is fully refundable if we as organizers cancel the workshop you registered for. It is also fully refundable if you decide to cancel before the “Cancel By” date for the course, i.e. two months before the course commences. If, having paid the full fee, you wish to cancel more than two weeks before the start of the course, the fee minus the deposit will be refunded. Later cancellations will attract no refund. If you cancel your participation after the "Cancel By" date, your payment will not be refunded. In case of a cancellation on the part of the tutor (e.g. due to illness) or if the venue needs to be changed the organizer reserves the right to provide for an equivalent substitute. There are no refunds for services not utilized while participating in the course. Travel insurance is recommended.
Physical Requirements
The course can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair-climbing in the regions visited and it is important that all participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in these activities without the need of assistance from others.
Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
We strive to provide excellent quality meals that are reflective of the local region and culture. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform our host in advance.
Insurance
The course fee does not include accident insurance. Participation in courses, trips and excursions is at your own risk. This also applies to the use of all tools and aids, all premises and buildings at the respective venues and at the living quarters. We advise all participants to take out their own comprehensive travel insurance to include cover of payments in the case of accident or cancellation due to illness or unavoidable circumstances, which might prevent their attendance.
