Wildpainting is allowing yourself to paint in ways you may have never attempted before, thus breaking away from usual habits. The emphasis is on the process itself, undergoing the magic of colours in the landscape. You immerse yourself in a natural environment that invites opening all of the senses.

Wildpainting is painting nature in a surprising, different, colourful way. As inspiration we take Paul Cézanne’s motto:  “The landscape is expressing itself through me; I am its consciousness.”
Suitable for beginners through to more experienced painters as tuition will be tailored to your individual level.

Depending on weather conditions we choose a place to paint en plein air. Among the cypress trees, the vineyard, the medieval church. We take our easels, snacks and beverages along and paint outside most of the day. A warm homemade lunch will be served at midday, nourishing both stomach and soul.

Sharing good food together around the table, hikes and promenades in the area, and having conversations about what we see and experience: all these are important ingredients in what the Wildpainting experience is about.
